Drawing from Sculpture

In this workshop participants will draw from direct observation of outdoor sculptures on the grounds of the park. Emphasis will be on gesture, outline, silhouette, shadow and light. The workshop will consist of a short talk on the topic, a demonstration, and a constructive critique session involving the entire class.

Materials will be provided. Participants may bring their own if preferred and should bring gear and clothing suitable for the weather and a water bottle.
